Modern Clocks: Modern clocks can often be seen as copies of the traditional designs of clocks but with the influence of the current fashion at the time of their manufacturing. Often these clocks had a working life expectancy of about 25 years, but can still be found running today, up to 100 years after their production. Although not necessarily valuable clocks they often hold a lot of sentimentality for families as they were common wedding presents for our parents’ and grandparents’ generations and many of us grew up with them ticking away in their houses, whenever we visited.
